John Mendelsohn
John Mendelsohn, MD, FAACR, a former member of the AACR Board of Directors, a former editor-in-chief of Clinical Cancer Research, and a fellow of the AACR Academy, died January 7, 2019, at the age of 82.
Arthur B. Pardee
Arthur B. Pardee, PhD, FAACR, a past president of the AACR who conducted pioneering research in molecular biology, died February 24, 2019, at the age of 97.
Peter J. Rosen
Peter J. Rosen, MD, an Emeritus member of the AACR, passed away on October 28, 2019, at the age of 77.
Leonard A. Sauer
Leonard A. Sauer, MD, PhD, an Emeritus member of the AACR, died on April 15, 2019, at the age of 89. Dr. Sauer was a Senior Research Physician at Mary Imogene Bassett Hospital.
D. Dale Shoemaker
D. Dale Shoemaker, PhD, an Emeritus member of the AACR, died September 10, 2019, at the age of 72.
Milan Slavik
Dr. Milan Slavik, MD, PhD, AACR Emeritus member, passed away January 13, 2019, at the age of 88.
Elliot H. Stonehill
Elliot H. Stonehill, PhD, an Emertius member of the AACR, passed away on July 17, 2019.
Elizabeth Weisburger
Elizabeth K. Weisburger, PhD, a chemical toxicologist and a longtime member of the AACR, died February 12, 2019, at the age of 94.
